The 2022 Arts Awards of Waterloo Region took place at Tapestry Hall in Cambridge, ON on November 16, 2022.
We welcomed artists and community members from across the KW Region to celebrate our nominees and our arts community on a whole. The ceremony was dedicated to the late Majdi Bou-Matar.
We had the pleasure of having performances from our nominees, Jesse Webber and Jason Carraro, who performed music for us.
Later in the evening we welcomed General Arts award winner Tara Butler back to the stage to perform a dance solo
We finished up the evening by presenting the Lifetime Achievement Award to the late Majdi Bou-Matar, accepted by his wife, Rania Al-Hammoud
